In-Person PSEA Trainings for IOM Staff
We are marking a significant milestone in raising awareness about Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), including Sexual Harassment (SH).
More than 50 IOM Serbia staff from the field and the office, encompassing all programs and units, have been trained in order to strengthen their capacities to deal with all forms of sexual misconduct.
This interactive training fosters an understanding of the concepts and consequences of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) and sexual harassment (SH), reporting and recognizing incidents, referral pathways and assistance to survivors, guidance on the duty of care towards victims and the six core principles of SEA. Topics also included PSEA policy, expectations for staff conduct, and the consequences of SEA on stakeholders.
PSEA remains a high priority for IOM. Embracing PSEA policy and adhering to the expectations for staff conduct, we are promoting zero tolerance for sexual exploitation and abuse and sexual harassment.
