Pilot project Selection of Qualified Foreign Workers
Project Duration: 2005 - 2008
Donors: Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs & Ministry of foreign affairs / Czech Embassy in Serbia
The project lasted from July 2005 to April 2008 and was implemented in partnership with the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs & Ministry of foreign affairs / Czech Embassy in Serbia. The objective of the project was to implement an info campaign for Serbian citizens interested in professional job placement in Czech Republic. Several thousands of people have been informed through the specially established help-line and info campaign was present in all media with national and local coverage (printed, radio, TV). More than 100 professionals managed to find job placement through IOM in Czech Republic while the campaign was aired. The total budget provided by the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs was USD 90,000.
